Stanley     Zinn

February 17, 1940 - October 19, 2007

Stanley Zinn was born in South Africa on February 17, 1940. He immigrated with his parents in to Israel in 1959. He served in the IDF. In 1962 he founded BROTHER INTERNATIONAL ISRAEL with the mother company BROTHER JAPAN. Stanley was very successful in promoting BROTHER products despite the Arab boycott; he was amongst the first suppliers to promote and sell PCs and was the agent for the Taiwanese company Copam Computers. He opened many retail wool shops under the name of EMPISAL and was successful in promoting local wool manufacturers such as POLGAT.

Stanley was married with 5 kids, unfortunately his oldest daughter was killed in a motor accident one week before going to the army. In 1996 Stanley retired and immigrated to America where he lived with wife and a major portion of his family. He battled cancer for a few years and has passed away on October 19, 2007. His family decided to bring him to burial in Savion, Israel where they have lived for many years. Stanley was a very generous man, and no call for support was ever refused.

May his soul rest in peace and may he see his reward in Paradise for all his kindnesses to others. May God bless and comfort all in his family. He accomplished much in his short lifetime. Shalom.

My condolences from Sydney Preiss, also from Pretoria and also born in 1940. I remember Stanley from the days we grew up together in community
