Rosner's Domain: "Yes we can" meets "no we won't"Posted by SHMUEL ROSNER
Comments: 80 Follow Rosner's Domain on Twitter!!! NY Meetings aside, here's what I wrote for Slate last week: So even if there is a meeting next week or in the following weeks - even if the parties grudgingly agree to "negotiate" - it is clear to everyone involved, except for the overeager Americans, that success is unlikely. Because while Obama is running as fast as he can, all the Middle Eastern players are convinced that they had better move slowly. When he said, "After me," they all replied, "After you, and him, and him, too." Netanyahu has no desire to make political or strategic sacrifices before he sees some progress on the Iranian nuclear front. Abbas and the Palestinians - and some other Arab leaders - are still hoping that if they wait, Obama might be drawn into pressuring Israel a little more. Arab states are reluctant to move before the Palestinians do. The Syrians want to make sure that they bet on the right horse - and will not abandon their Iranian card while it is still valuable. In short, the Obama administration had hoped that by showing enthusiasm and dynamism it would ignite positive momentum. Instead, it had raised false expectations and now faces a credibility gap. ... Obama - and now that we know him better, it is less of a surprise - was reaching for the stars and reaped no more than a handful of air. "Yes we can" ran into "no we won't." Israel will not freeze settlements, Palestinians will not soften their demands, and Arabs will not lend a hand. And, by the way, Iran will not halt its nuclear program, Russia will not vote for stronger sanctions, Lebanon will not have a Hezbollah-free government, and Syria will not arrest terrorists crossing into Iraq. Not until they have better reasons to do what Obama wants them to do. Not until he shows them that he can also wait for them to make a move. Full article is here.

2 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
The question still remains, will we attack Iran militarily to delay their nuclear program? The CNN report says Peres assured Russia we will not. At the same time, Russia still plans to sell a missile defense system to Iran, making an attack far more difficult if not impossible. Then we get the news report that an adviser to Obama would like the US to shoot down Israeli planes over Iraq if such an attack is made. I just read the ABC blog by Jake Tapper dealing with Brezinski's interview. The article itself is of little importance - but read the comments!
3 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
The comments are shocking in their anti-Israel sentiment. If anyone doubts that the left-wing Obama supporters are a bunch of anti-Semites, this will remove all doubt. And if you ever doubted that the far left is allied with Islamists, doubt no more. Many comments praised Iran, even praised Saudi Arabia. The BS was enough to fertilize every farm in America. The ''peace-loving'' Muslims are defending themselves from ''Israeli aggression'' etc.etc. You all know the vocabulary - apartheid, racist, land grab, colonialist, genocide, Israel is a cancer in the Middle-East.
4 | Chris USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
I'll bet the atmosphere in Obama's tripartite meeting will be so cold it could solve global warming for decades!
5 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
This is Obama's hard-core constituancy. Brezinski deliberately raised the SS Liberty issue, knowing full well this would demonize Israel & bring a knee-jerk reaction from all the Israel-bashers. And, it is hard to believe that this academic twit, this refugee from the failed Carter administration, would say this without approval from someone, if not Obama himself. Now, in all liklihood, this is just the wet-dream of an idiot has-been anti-Semite but it reveals the mind-set of many far-left Obama advisers. It is this context that we should view the photo-op meeting at the UN.
6 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Obama's UN appearance is nothing but another photo-op to cover up the total failure of his foreign policy, one blunder after the other, one appeasement after the other, one display of incompetence & inexperience after the other. The meeting between Netanyahu, Obama, & Abbas is only a cover-up for failure, a chance to pretend that there is ''progress'' when in fact, this is all a meaningless charade. Nonetheless, Obama will be in good company at the UN - if Obama had any integrity, he would be embarrassed to be seen at that corrupt meeting of dictators & tyrants.
7 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
But Obama is just a shallow narcissist, a fraud who cares only about appearances, make-believe success to feed his ego. Do you think he'll condemn the Goldstone report? No, that might make him unpopular. The most embarrassing moment will be when he gets less applause than Ahmadinejad & Qadaffi - you can imagine the speeches they'll give while an American president is a sitting duck in their line of fire.
8 | Tom, US, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Exactly why I have said all along that the very best thing that the US could do in order to facilitate any form of settlement in the ME is to simply walk away completely from Israel. Cut ALL foreign aid as well as military aid. Take a completely neutral posture regarding events in the ME. As long as Israel perceives that America is standing by them, there will never be any form of peace in the ME.
9 | Sally - U.S.A., Monday Sep 21, 2009
Way to go Terry! Let me add just a little more. Now under what administration did Brezinski serve? Oh, that right Jimmy Carter, whose book made it on the top hit parade of Osama bin Laden's must read list. Also, the conflict with Obama actually presiding over the Security Council meeting on 9/24 was explained by Anne Bayefsky. Obama took specific countries, N Korea & Iran, off the agenda while adding general non-proliferation to the agenda. (Guess whose head will be on the chopping block especially after the general assembly just voted against her?)
10 | uri levin, Monday Sep 21, 2009
very good mr rosner.
the daily telegraph in the uk wrote yesterday that obama is out of his depth.and that is indeed the case.
terry thank you for your enlightening posts.obama will not condemn israel over goldstone because the usa i far more vulnerable to the same charges.
11 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#8 Tom. Indeed, and while the US is cutting off aid to Israel, let's not forget to cut off aid to Egypt, Jordan, the P.A., stop weapons sales to Saudi Arabia, end all aid to Iraq, nothing for Afghanistan or Pakistan. I'd go along with that - but that's not what you meant, is it?
12 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
What's the matter? No criticism of Ehud Barak allowed? Was anything I said untrue? OK, maybe Barak isn't an agent for the CIA & secretly working for Obama - he just acts that way. But, calling him a serial blunderer & someone who has made a career of bungling is accurate as is calling him an opportunist. By the way, it was Barak who agreed to total American control of the new radar installation early warning system - a mistake of major consequences. His comment on N. Korea is absolutely asinine, undermining everything Israel has been saying for years about Iran.
13 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#9 Sally. Brezinski advised Carter to abandon the Shah. Brilliant move! Do you know how genius Carter characterized Khomeini at the time? He called him a ''holy man, a man of faith.'' Ask yourself how anyone could make a speech against nuclear proliferation & NOT talk about Iran & N. Korea? This goes far beyond merely being brain-dead - this is deliberate obfuscation, incredible irresponsibility, & total intellectual dishonesty. Carter & his advisers are the godfathers of the Iranian Islamic Revolution & Obama is continuing the same policy.
14 | Yacov Yosifovitch NY:Disinfect the Secular-U.N. of Islamiczm, Monday Sep 21, 2009
The U.N is Man-Kinds SECULAR-CHURCH! To prevent a 3rd World War there should be a Newer-Better U.nited Nations! The League of Nations was 1st. Todays "AL TAQIYAH" run UN is 2nd. So aNewer U.N. must rid the Scourge of islamic JEALOUSY. Brother Prez OBAMA & CO., should Tell the "AL TAQIYAH"ists [Judeo-abe-Islamic Zionist, not Judeo-abe-JUs] they can't turn the "U.nited N.ations" into a "ISLAMIC Playground Includes All the Arab "NGO"s. ELSE; better to have NO U.N! The New 3rd-U.N should be SECULAR run, influenced & Controlled! IF Muhammad can rid KABBA of IDOLS, Why-not the U.N. of AL-TAQIYAHizm?
15 | J.M.Jordan, Germany, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Tom, decidedly ME peace is far off right now. For more than one reason. However, progress's less tied to US aid as to the Palestinian leadership's (+ Arab such's in general) not being ready to compromise + to contribute even the most essential thing, FOR EVER accepting Israel's right to exist alongside... - albeit more like UN Partition's view of it as regards its size. Till this ice has not melted nothing CAN change for the better. Even not if Mr. "Yes we can" speaks w/ angels' tongues. Positive thinking DOESN'T do it all. WHO CAN MAKE PEACE WITH NEIGHBOURS only wishing you gone/dead?
16 | Mike Feldman, Canada, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Terry and Sally. I understand that our brains shrink as we age, Considering what Carter and Brezinski started with, what can be left?
17 | Moshe, Kfar Sava, Monday Sep 21, 2009
I vote that Terry from Eilat should have a column in the Jerusalem Post. He's got a lot of good insight into what's going on, and is not afraid to tell it like it is. Great reading! JPost are you listening? Why not can some of the useless drek you're publishing by the likes of Chazan, Derfner, Jeff Barak, etc., and put Terry on your staff instead. Or if he's not interested, there are plenty of others who are able to write similar truth.
18 | Sally - U.S.A., Monday Sep 21, 2009
Terry - Haven't you ever heard the term "don't preach to the choir?"
19 | Tom, US, Monday Sep 21, 2009
11 | I agree regarding cutting off foreign aid to Egypt. The only reason why the US is paying Egypt is to prevent them from attacking Israel. To cut off aid to the Palestinians would be ridiculous. You racist bastards have the Palestinians in prison camps. If anything the US should invade Israel and set the Palestinians free from you genocidal pigs. The other wars were as a result of our failed foreign policy regarding the shitstain on a map called Israel. Once the US invades Israel you should be forced to pay America back for the wars in Afghanistan as well as Iraq.
20 | Kay California,USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Obama's presidential campaign was full of these kinds of slogans, but slim of any true substance.
Well, here is the substance. What a mess! Obama is a huge disaster everywhere you turn.
21 | American Cowboy, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Hey Tom,
We could do something else...
Expel you and those of YOUR kind out of the United States of America, including the guy sitting in the White House.
After all, you do occupy Native American soil illegally, Eurotrash, and you're also a burr in this cowboy's saddle, girlieboy.
So, leave before we show you the door, and again, if you show up at any Cowboy "watering hole" between Dallas and Great Plains spewing your vomit, you might get a "free flight" for your sickening, anti-American, Anti-Christian as well as Anti-Jewish bigotry.
Have a nice day, pal.
22 | Shel Zahav, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Obama runs into a lot of "no we can't" all over the world. He is a foreign affairs disaster.
23 | Shel Zahav, Monday Sep 21, 2009
I vote for Terry to have 17 simultaneous columns in the JP.
24 | Tom, US, Monday Sep 21, 2009
21 | American Cowboy - Only steers and queers in Texas and you aren't a steer so I guess that narrows it down.
25 | Claudia, Tampa, FL USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#17, I second that Moshe. Terry says everything I want to say, only much, much better!
26 | Matthew-Jerusalem, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Tom the Bigot tried in his first post to stick to the "I'm only opposed to Israeli policy but I don't have a problem with Jewish people" facade of the American Left. However, with just a couple of words Terry from Eilat ruffled his feathers and in his very next post Tom's Jew hating bile gushed forth for all the world to see.
Tom, why don't take American Cowboy's suggestion and try spouting off your filth in a room where real men are actually present?
27 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#18 Sally. Certainly true, I realize I'm preaching to the choir - you sing pretty well yourself, I always appreciate your posts. But I get very angry reading most of the mainstream media with it's distortions, it's politically correct politeness when complete idiots make doltish comments, the ''experts'' who don't know their tuchas from a hole in the ground, we're literally being buried in BS. And for #16 Mike Feldman - I meant to wish you a gut yontif so I'll take this occasion - Shana Tova. Re: your comment - these people aren't stupid, they're malignant.
28 | Tom, US, Monday Sep 21, 2009
26 | Matthew - Unlike you Matthew, I am a real man. I have no fear of voicing my opinion in any venue. In fact I have before with over a thousand communists present who wanted to kill me because of what I had to say. So unlike yourself who hides behind a computer at a forum where your opinion is the safe one I stand proud and tall with truth in my words. I will long after those who squat on Palestinian land are dead and buried.
29 | Vince USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Yea well, the mainstream media ABC,NBC,CBS,MSNBC are no longer credible "news". 3 million people marched on Washington last weekend and not a peep on any of these "news" stations. Theres civil unrest in the states over this Obama character and we dont trust him. The polls LIE and they cannot be trusted. I will not stand by this "president" if in fact he's even eligible to be that. Which I doubt very very seriously. So this Nation is seriously divided, between the intelligent and the dumb. The dumb are the ones that get their news on TV.
30 | David USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
.....Israel will not freeze settlements, Palestinians will not soften their demands, and Arabs will not lend a hand. .... Wrong! Cause and effect go in this order : 1) Israel will not freeze settlements, hence 2) Palestinians will not soften their demands and 3) Arabs will not lend a hand. Get it ?
31 | B.A. The Netherlands, to #Terry, Eilat, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Hey Terry, how are doing? It's me again, the guy from The Netherlands. I have finished the thesis and I am now a jurist. All I want to say to you is this: I understand you very well, but you must take it easy. Otherwise you may suffer heart attack. You have to trust your leadership to do the right thing (there is no better combination than that of Nathanyahu, Barak, Liebermann and Peres). Regarding the comments on ABCblog. Do you really expect anything else from the Arab immigrant community? Learn to channel your anger to affect real change on the ground. Ranting is for the unstable mind.
32 | Aaron - Toronto, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#19 Tom. It didn't take too long for your true colours to show. I'm just surprised you were able to pry yourself away from your six-pack of Grolsch and your underage skinhead girfriend/sister long enough to write a second post. At least we know who the shitstain is. Keep your views to yourself and your cross-burning friends. We've outlived your kind for millenia and a cracker moron like you won't have an impact on this world so stick to the couch in your parents' basement and leave the civilized people of the world alone.
33 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#31 B.A. The Netherlands. Hey, B.A. - congratulations, maybe you should have studied Islamic Law considering how things are going in your neck of the woods. Don't worry, I won't have a heart attack, I actually lead a very unstressful life. Never trust politicians, ever - that's my advice to you. The comments on the ABC blog were not from the Arab immigrants, they were from looney-left Americans, the hard-core Obama supporters. Most Americans do not share their views, quite the contrary, even among Democrats.

36 | Yacov Yosifovitch :ISLAMmustNowAskSelves"WHYtheWorldHATEsUs?, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Prior to WW2, The Judeo-abe-JU's had to contend with the Dilemma of "WHY DOES THe WORLD HATE [JEWS] US?" But since TIME is Our Weapon & best friend & medicine THAT, now The tables [of HiSTORY; our Jury/judge&witness] has turned against the "AL TAQIYAH"ists Wahabi (in Saudi, in Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, iSlamic-Pakistan whom stole a big SWAT of Landa from Peacefull sweet INDIA, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Sysria..). Terry. Shana Tova. You're having a pretty good day blogging. If you need some one to head up the fan club let me know. Or are we sticking to the a.k.'s kvetcher's club?
38 | Terry - Eilat, Israel, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#37 Mike Feldman. I'll stick with the A.K. Kvetcher's club, thanks. I had a very intense kvetching session last night, a friend was on military leave with some of his army buddies, younger guys can kvetch pretty good even if they lack experience. Anyone who thinks our young people are not motivated is badly mistaken - we should all be extremely proud of our soldiers, they are true patriots & wonderful kids. Their devotion to our country kind of fired me up, really. Hope you had a good holiday, speak to you another day.
39 | Alan-USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Rosner is finally getting it. The only question we have with anyone like this, is "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?" The Obama you are seeing is NO different than the one EVERYONE with sense, was warning you about BEFORE the election. Unfortunately 20-20 Blind Sight becoming 20-20 Hind Sight, doesn't solve the problem of Obama's INCOMPETENCE.
40 | J.M.Jordan, Germany, Monday Sep 21, 2009
#30 David, I used to think like you, that the settlement freezing really made a difference. Pals got the probably best offer they'll ever get, Abbas "not good enough", no acknowledgement, no thanks, not one step forward for it. Know meanwhile freeze request just an alibi to not have to admit frankly to Obama not only Hamas, also Fatah doesn't want peace. Both charters unchanged, education/PR not in peace direction etc etc etc. Iran, the Arab League and the Pals are the primary "no we won'ts". Netanyahu as a burnt child approaches peace another way but he does approach, he's NOT the cause.
41 | Johnson USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Carter is responsible for installing the clerical government of Iran that constitutes a threat to the world. Carter is now also on the Iranian and Islamic payroll with continuing endowments for his causes and lavish praise for his courage.
Israel should restate its position and assert the verity that the West Bank is "liberated territories," retaken after being seized by the Arab's in their 1948 assault. Withdraw from the concession of these lands as occupied. There is no prospect of a viable two state solution with intransigent Arabs. Repatriate them to Arab lands as Jews made Aliyah.
42 | Johnson USA, Monday Sep 21, 2009
Islamics make hadj and are enraptured by the prospect of return to Saudi Arabia, the founding site of Islam. Fulfill the Islamic dream and enable them to live in proximity to the place of founding of their religion. Undertake the repatriation of Muslims from Israel, including the liberated territories, to their Holy Land.
This nonsense concerning the "right" of Arabs to live in a land they seek to destroy needs to be dismissed, and Israel must stop making concessions and ceding territory. Adoppt repatriation as a viable strategy. It's win-win. Israelis have Israel. Muslims have Mecca.

Perhaps the "no we won't" part of this will be that part that changes? Obama may lay out US position to both men in private before others? Which could be support for negotiations for two years then declaration by the Palestinians. Not likely but every bit as creditable as the idea that Bibi will tell the US and PA that occupation and settlements will stay and there will not be a "pricetag" as Mr Rosner implies by omission.
45 | Rick, Tuesday Sep 22, 2009
Israel has to do what's in its own national security interests irrespective of the views of other countries, including the USA. The USA and every other country does the same thing. If the point is reached where Israel decides it must take out the Iranian nuclear facilities, or greatly endanger its own security, then that's what it has to do. Period.
46 | Chaim - Israel, Tuesday Sep 22, 2009
#17. I third the motion to give Terry from Eilat a column in the Jerusalem Post. The Post could easily make space for his column by eliminating the usual drivel penned by the likes of Jeff Barak, Larry Derfner, Naomi Chazan etc. Terry is far more articulate than the above mentioned columists and far more representative of the spirit of the Israeli people. It would also be a welcome move to help rectify the disgusting lack of patriotism in the leftist dominated Israeli media.
47 | Ann USA, Tuesday Sep 22, 2009
"Just because 'we can' do a specific thing, does not mean 'we should' do that specific thing."
This applies to everything we do. Wisdom would dictate that we "count the cost" before we do anything, & especially anything that will affect our future and/or the future of our children.
G-d gave us each a brain & He gave us each a free will. I believe we are accountable to Him for what we chose do with the things He give us, including the gifts of being able to think & the gift of being able to chose our actions.
48 | Tammy, U.S.A, Tuesday Sep 22, 2009
Not only does Obama rush into everything like he fears there is little time left, the lies is the real reason no one believes he can. How can anyone in Israel or in America trust someone who appears to snuggle up with the non-allies, while treating allies with cool and disrespectful actions. A lot of people have watched his actions and are asking "What is REALLY going on?"
49 | Jason Sanborn Austin TX, Tuesday Sep 22, 2009
Obama only has a sence of urgency because he knows that once people figure out what he is doing, they will no longer agree with him. It is easy to say "Change" but when people reaizse that means Socialism no on agrees any longer.

I'll tell you why Obama get the answer" NO" internationally; it's because he's WEAK!! He's being tested on all fronts, and the leaders of N.Korea, Russia, and Muslim states have demonstrated his "weakness". Additionally he's "wrong-headed", as demonstrated by not being able to get his OWN PARTY behind him Heath Care. Now that the "less than friendly" countries have discovered his weakness, they will do whatever/whenever they want. He has also demonstrated that "Peace Through Strength" is not in his repertoire. His "Talk nice and they'll like me" doesn't work on the stage of world politics!

I have a concern about president Obama. I have lost total confidence in the direction he is taking this country. I don't know if he can be trusted to back up your country. I want to believe he would back you up, but he is OWNED too many far left groups. We can only pray for him and hope he makes the right decisions.
52 | Brad, Tennessee, Wednesday Sep 23, 2009
Why is it the responsibility of the U.S. to solve the ME peace problem? Neither side has ever had peace and most likely won't anytime soon. Since everyone in the world seems to think that the UN and the EU can solve the issue the U.S. should withdraw their support of all sides concerned. Bush was condemned worldwide and Obama is ineffective. The U.S. has more to worry about domestically than to try to solve a problem that's literally a thousand-year plus ideological war.

56 You are so uncouth and disrespectful, President Obama, inherited a financial disaster teetering on the brink of World financial collapse, a deflated housing market with Wall Street robber barons running roughshod over the banking system. On top of all this he inherited Bush's failed wars in Iraq Afghanistan and Pakistan plus the Palestinian debacle. Obama is deftly trying to steer us from the abyss and bring an end to the wars. You think you could do a better job but didn't run for office because it's beneath you so STFU. The people have spoken and they have elected Obama.not you.

President Obama is like a kid they've closed Disneyland for. He won't leave until he's tried all the rides. He's like a little boy at Christmas who doesn't know which present to open first. Ultimately, he can't concentrate on any of them and goes into a sulk.

Reply to lydia: Yes Obama inherited a lot of problems. Congress was controlled by the Democrats before Obama was elected. There were conributions to the problems from the Republicans too. However, it does not excuse nor negate the realization by a majority of people, (of which there is a large portion that voted for Obama,) that Obama's policies are very bad for America and do not like the way he is attempting to ram through legislation without discussion, nor like the content in those bills.
62 | David Ramsey, Pleasanton, Ca. USA, Wednesday Sep 23, 2009
Obama has demonstrated that true allies such as Israel should be "dictated" to ("Stop the settlements!"), while he buddies up to the Muslim nations, dictators, theocracies, and communists of the world. This man sat in an anti-semitic/anti-white church for 20yrs, who's racist pastor Rev. Wright, actually married him and his wife. And he says he never heard Rev. Wright's racist rants. What a LIAR! I don't know if Obama is a true anti-semite or not, but his past associations point in that direction. I'm of Christian faith and was happy to see Netanyahu stand his ground and say "NO" to Obama.

60 Mike, mate Obama appeals to the younger more intelligent amongst us because he is not a buffoon (a la Shrub). Obama has already made history, he has nothing to prove and unlike Bush, never intend to rule by decree. hence his attempts at seeking bipartisan consensus. The US will once again regain the moral high ground we lost under Shrub. Obama's intention is to restore full clout to the UN, despite your little band of fraudsters wanting the contrary with your preemptive wars and killing UN envoys and peace keepers. Justice might grind slowly but the ICJ awaits your unconscionable leaders.

...nope...you can't give a boy a MAN's job...doesn't work...add to that a muslim Islamist slanted boy and what you have is a DUD as President of the (once great) USA..he disgraces himself and above
all the USA when he kisses the hand and butt of his master "Abdulla of Mecca"...a one way ticket
to Mecca and appointed as President of Saudi Arabia is the perfect place in history for Obama...

63. lydia. A while back you said that you were a simple woman. At the time I thought it was false modesty. It was not. Your are a simple woman. Obama is the weakest President in modern history. He is on a constant tour of denegrating American while pointing out how wonderful he is. He has accomplished nothing, How can you not have the moral high ground when your dealing with the likes of Ahmadenejad and Gadaffi? Do you think Iran will see his goodness and give up the nuclear program that Obama says they cannot have? Do you think Russia will repond in kind to him throwing the Czechs and Poles under the bus. You better go back to your Khazar rant, 'cause you don't know crap about current events.

65 The likes of Ahmadinejad and Gaddafi? You mean Americans bombing Ghadifi's home and killing his household and the downing of IR65 and all the 290 defenseless passengers on board? We bomb them, then we should expect them to bomb back. Payback is bitch! Will Israel give up its 'secret' WMD stash? so why should Iran abrogate it's rights, as one of the founding members of the NPT. Coming from a bunch of mendacious jews in violation of Int. Law, that's some chutzpah. wanting people to abrogate their rights which you as a nonmember have none. Gaddafi and Ahmadinejad thrives on your duplicity.

66 Did he speak about Israel slaughter of defenseless women and children to steal their land?Did he speak out about Israel occupation in defiance of the UN, did he speak out against Israel incarceration of the members of the US supervised elected Palestinian government but he did what ?spoke in defense of Israel, who in his right mind would defend Israel unconscionable behavior, yes ONE man, Harper. There is honor among thieves, but not even Goldstone a jew, could find honor in his report on Israels savage conduct during the Gaza war.

Obama is constrained by his own conviction of passivity. Perhaps an easy ride to the White House but uneasy to settle in. And I bet he is cut for a "one term" prez only. The guy is unfazed by his muslim credentials; this has been transparent throughout his presidency. He is probably learning some lessons that the anti-Israeli stance will not help and beginning to tone down. Someone wrote on a different blog that the US is fast losing its place as the leader of the World....trace it to Obama's indecision. Obama should not mince words in denouncing the evil of the world.

#74. Golden Nugget. Tom is not a muslim. Please see my post under "will Russia agree to sanctions? Tom is a goose stepping neo-N-z-. Not a guess, he has proudly declared it. I had stated some time ago that I didn't think Tom was a muslim. I not sure what (if anything) lydia is other than a N-z- collaberator. I guess like weeds, they continue to grow even after you think you've pulled out the roots. In my view it would be very foolish for anyone to take anything they say to heart. Calling them Jew haters, is like calling water, wet. Interesting that Tom can be a white supremist, yet brag he voted for Obama. His true colors were exposed when he thought he was answering Afro-American.
