Here's a couple of paragraphs: MCCAIN: The liberal left, during the Cold War so warned that if we spoke out for the people who are captive nations, members of captive nations, that that would lead to greater oppression. We found out after the Berlin Wall came down that we were, in their words, a beacon of hope and liberty and freedom for them. So the liberal left will, again, continue to argue that we should be nice to the Iranian regime and we shouldnt encourage dissidence. That is in direct contradiction to the fundamental principles of the United States of America. GRAHAM: Well, if I may add, this is -- if you look back in history, this wasnt the liberal left criticizing. Ronald Reagans people in his own administration tried to dissuade him from making the Tear down this wall speech. And the only person, I think, that voted against resolution in the House condemning Iran was Ron Paul . So I just want to put on record that a lot of people have gotten it wrong. And this is not, to me, about, you know, my expertise versus somebody in a think tank. Its about me doing what I think I need to do as an American, as somebody who is awed by the courage it takes to go to the streets knowing you may not come back or you get killed or injured.

As long as Israel acts like a total complete ass toward the Palestinians as well as the rest of their neighbors in the middle east then they can expect for all their neighbors to hate them. You people have been threatening to attack Iran for how long now? Also bombing Syria which is in violation of international law. To-day is Canada's 142 birhday, Happy Birthday Canada. Happy belated 61 to Israel. It could also have been the 61st year of a Palestinian state, but sadly the neighbouring Arab countries rejected UN 181 and immediately attacked the new Israeli state. Israel to end the travesty they started. Iran was not a participant in these wars and should have influence in the outcome. Surely the Arab countries realize this. Israel likely sees the possibility of peace with her Arab neightbours and a solution to the plight of the Palestians, but there can be no peace with Iran uder its current leadership. Iran seems to be on a suicide mission, and American influence notwithstanding, Israel will likely grant them their wish.

Zan, brings up a good point, but what he is forgetting is, on so many occasions, the Palestinians have launched rockets into Israel thus killing innocent women and children. The only reason they haven't been more successful is because they fear the repercussions. So why do the Palestinians continue to claim they are victims? Iran needs to drop there weapons. Stop there decisions to produce mass destruction weapons. Listen to there people. If not, then they will need to be forced to do so. Nice works with nice people. If it doesn't work, that means they are probably not too nice. Oppression drives hate and anger and will eventually be Irans downfall. They should know better by sheer virtue of common sense and the will of there own people to put them in to the type of government they have now.
