Rosner's Domain: WH isn't happy about Clinton's "unprecedented" gaffe (and Joe Klein is really angry)

Here's the kind of unbiased reports that make you all love the press. Joe Klein writes extensively on Hillary Clinton - while he also make sure to bash Netanyahu whenever possible. Why? mainly because his positions were "a nonstarter for the Palestinians". And for Klein too, I'd assume:

It was Halloween night in Jerusalem, and Benjamin Netanyahu came dressed as a peacemaker. "We're prepared to start peace talks immediately," the notoriously reluctant Israeli Prime Minister proclaimed, with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton standing at his side, poker-faced. "I think we should... get on it and get with it."

It was a ploy, of course.

This seems to me to be exemplary of the Obama administration. Roll out a big pronouncement without consultation with those who are subject to the results of the pronouncement or the feasiblity of it actually happening. The next step is a retreat to a more doable solution. Its pretty much akin to speaking before you think. I read with interest that Obama called for a settlement freeze. Obama has called for a lot of things. If Israel were to impose a freeze on settlements, it would make them the first and only country that actually did something that Obama requested. You can't retain stature by constantly demading things that won't happen.

Like I stated before, Hillary Rodham grew up in a kosher family in the northern Chicago burbs. A foaming at the mouth zionist. Just happy that the B didn't get the grand prize or the US's failed foreign policy wouldn't have even hit speed bumps following 8 years of another zionist piece of excrement in office. Aren't you overdue to invade Lebanon again ? So you can try out the newest changes in the Merkhava following the last invasion where a whole bunch of tanks were ambushed on the side of a hill ?

Speaking out against the injustice of 60 years of occupation ,colonization, ethnic cleansing and persecution of Palestinians by Zionists is not wasted words. The USA is slowly awakening from the AIPAC propaganda fog & becoming aware of what the rest of the world knows. eg. That the Goldstone report on IDF war crimes is just the tip of the iceberg. Washington is taking only halting steps but at least it is a start & must be seen by non-Zionists as a glimmer of hope. Zionism that believes that the ethnic cleansing of Palestine is OK & is official state policy (ie Transfer) IS the problem.

Like Tom said before, the Methodist, Hillary Rodham is actually Jewish. How so? Tom knows a guy, who knows a guy who heard from a guy that the guy the other guy knows knows a guy who prepares tax returns. I believe Tom said the tax return guy's name is H.R. Block. Anyway the tax return guy says the Methodist Rodhams are really Jewish. Must be that you are required to state your religion on US tax returns. Wonder if Tom can ask one of his deep cover contacts what Jewish cemetery the Rodham seniors are buried in. Maybe Tom can edify us in other Jewish names that end in "ham"? Tom, we take you very seriously.

Mike, you know Israel would be "forced" into settlements freeze tomorrow if Obama "demanded" it. To say otherwise is being less than honest, I think. Hence Abbas walking because he knows that BibI could not deliver a freeze or east Jeruslam which was other than forced upon him due to his coalition. Prisoners document part II coming soon I think to prepare "unity" for elections. A Hamas lead parliment and Fatah president. Possibly Barghouti. 3/1 odds

Daran. I'll take your bet. Let's say one British pound or $40 revised USD. As I said before if Obama "demanded"a settlement freeze and Bibi was "forced"to accept it, it would be the first foreign policy demand of Obama's that was heeded. The flip side of the coin is: if Obama demanded that the Palestinians make peace gestures such as recognition of Israel's right to exist, would the Palestinians and Saudis et al feel "forced to accept his demand?

4 | Mike Feldman - Almost as seriously as we in the US take you Canadians Feldman. You zionists who run Canada make many statements regarding what the US should be doing while at the same time Canada is withdrawing troops from conflicts in the ME which were initiated because of the US's failed foreign policy. If any country should be completely disengaging from ANY involvement in the ME on behalf of that shit stain on a map called Israel, it is the US of A ! Regardless of people like that JAP tramp, Hillary from the very kosher northern Chicago burbs.

Why do you take such offense Feldman every time we expose a member of the tribe ? After all, it is an old jewish tradition to pretend to not be a member of the tribe going back even before the inquisition. Such as when Christopher Columbus, being of jewish roots brought the first black slave to America (his cabin boy). Members of the tribe have pretended to be goy for centuries for a number of reasons. In Hillary Clinton's case it is to gain political access. With her brother being the lobbyist to gain a pardon for that jewish criminal, Marc Rich.

Tom you must be a closet Jew by marriage to lydia the Jewess..er the JewASS.That must account for your wide knowledge of all things Jewish.
10  |  Mike Feldman, Canada, Sunday Nov 08, 2009
Tom. on the contrary to your latest drool, I am quite proud when I find out an accomplished person is a member of the tribe. Your comments about Canada are ridiculous. You're probably bent out of shape because Harper is out ahead of Obama on support for Israel. Over one hundred Canadians have died in Afghanistan and the mission is extended to 2011. Harper doesn't need a year to make up his mind on troop committments. Your Jewish Hilary is like you, a joke. My image of you is a guy who keeps crashing great parties and when everyone is having a good time, he lets go a real stinky fart to empty the room.

Mike, I stated already that any recognition of Israel state as declared by Ben Gurion is a de facto acceptance of a Jewish state, thats my position. Why not change the name to "Jewish State" if that 's what those who are desirious of that title for the nation want (and can find majority support for). As for " constantly demading" Obama, do you contend that there have been demands made? if you do, what sanction or responce do you say the US has stated failier to comply would induce? We both know I think, that no demands have been placed. (liked the £1/40us$ revised lol)
12  |  Mike Feldman, Canada, Sunday Nov 08, 2009
Well Daran, that may be where we should be heading. No one has a problem with the Islamic Republic of Iran, so why not the Jewish State of Israel? What was declared by Ben Gurion and what I bellieve the Arabs have in mind for Israel are two different things. It could very well be that the end game for the Arabs is the Islamic State of Israel. Given the track record of Jews in Arab lands that would basically be the end of the game. When I speak of Obama, I mean this. Demands are made on North Korea, North Korea tests nuclear warheads. Diplomacy with Iran, backed up with the threat of CONT

Daran CONT severe sanctions has increased Iran's belicose rhetoric. Given up the weapons shield for Eastern Europe has gained us a Putin who says he doesn't want to "offend" the Iranians with tough talk. Hilary goes to China, but does't dare offend the Chines with talks of human rights. Obama snubs the Dali Lama to not offend mainland China. China and Russia do not support sanctions on Iran. But Obama tells Israel via a speech in Cairo to halt the settlements. I think you see my point is no one actually takes Obama seriously. Further, there's nothing he can deliver to Israel that would be useful.

I had lost track of Rosner. He is absent from the Contentions blog at Commentary. I am glad to see him here again. As for Joe Klein, he has for a long time now behaved like a kind of Rumpelstilskin, a malicious dwarf forever stamping his feet unreasonably and furiously. Whatever his problem, he is no longer interesting. Curious is Clinton's recent claim that her and Obama's idea of a Palestinian state would reach up to the pre June 1967 borders, and have East Jerusalem as its capital. That was not Nixon's, Fords, Reagan's, Bush's or her husband's position and is not exactly conciliatory.

Mike, the radar bases were never a shield for eastern Europe, I thought we had established that in previous post's. The Koreams tested their weapon to a republican whitehouse, nowt happened to them because of it, that Obama is not pursuing now. Diplomacy for Iran was necessary to "prove" that the US and Allies were willing to give peace a chance, without which a coalition to oppose the Iranian threat would be much more differcult to rally. Far better than the mega phone Bush used and proved useless. I note you don't mention that Obama "demands" could be ignored by Israel. I'll accept that.

To Tom You are a rabid dog anti-Semite. Here in the most amazing and wonderful country on earth-Israel we just discovered medication that saved the lives of 2 people about to die from swine flu. But should you need such medication I am sure you can get it from the mad dog Muslims in Gaza. And maybe from the Muslim Nobel prize winners in medicine. Oh, silly me there are NO Muslims who ever won Nobel prizes in medicine.
18  |  Mike Feldman, Canada, Tuesday Nov 10, 2009
Daran. Regarding the radar shields for Eastern Europe. You had established whatever you believe you had established. We didn't establish agreement on the radar shield, we simply moved on to other things. I'll give you that diplomacy was necessary with Iran, to prove that diplomacy with Iran will not work. Ive learned to temper my feelings of "lets hit 'em now, and hit 'em hard". But if sanctions are next, planning should be well under way, and I dont see it. I know you'll tell me we must try sanctions before comtemplating anything more drastic. Yes, I don't believe Netanyahu thinks he has to listen. he sees no return on the gesture.

Duncan Lennox, you surely must be a little anti-semitish. You present the typical twist to the truth. The Jerusalem mufti supported Hitler during WWII. Naturally the Jews would not be too receptive to hostile arabs at that time. The arabs overreacted and attacked Israel at their time of Independence and got their butts kicked, changed tactics several times and got their butt kicked several more times. During a century of empathy for Israel the holocaust victim, the arabs are consumed with their own selfish pride, and even worse Islamic world revolution. The bible predicts a bad end for this.

Or Obama manages to take TODAY's Iran threat out howsoever - I'm not talking of COEXISTING with it - or NOTHING AT ALL'l change in the Middle East. Problem problem problem as before. It's HIS choice. Hopefully soon. Time's not asleep.

Mike Feldman, Canada: lydia. I understand you took a couple of days off to go on de-tox. It obviously didnt work. You're still full of it.
Mike Feldman, Canada: #54 Duncan Lennox. Curious hypothetical for you to quote. In all your previous blogs you denied that the Battle of Jericho per the Book of Joshua ever happened. Now you quote results of attitudes towards the battle. I'm looking forward to your review of the movie "2012, now playing in a theater near you.
Mike Feldman, Canada: #22. Let me give you what may appear to be a facetious contradiction to your post. Let's say my religion advocates killing my daughter because she wants to change her religion? Does that mean that I am not subject to secular punishment? The separation of Church and State was devised so that the state could not legislate religion. It was never intended to place religion above the common laws whcih are intended to protect the human rights of the citizens.
