Election 2009: Rosner's Poll Trend If this is not a joke, it must be a joke, but I think it's not, well, just read it: Joe The Plumber is putting down his wrenches and picking up a reporter's notebook. The Ohio man who became a household name during the presidential campaign says he is heading to Israel as a war correspondent for the conservative Web site pjtv.com. He tells WNWO-TV in Toledo that he wants to let Israel's "'Average Joes' share their story." (Hat tip, Laura)

It's great that Joe the Plummer is going to Israel to get first hand news. Why not?This is a crucial war. Sounds like a pretty smart guy who feels the media might taint the news a bit so he'll try his best to set it straight. Great idea. I like this guy. God speed.

This guy is an idiot with little or no understanding of international affairs. You would be better off having Sarah Palin do commentary 'from her house' overlooking Russia.
Why is no one up in arms about the idea that he is coming here to report for the Israeli side of the war? Are the Israeli press not much better than US press, and are they not able to communicate well in English?
Moreover, aren't the press in Israel more respectful of journalism than to assume a biased novice will be able to help make their case better then themselves?

Great! Please give him my number 052-3651490. My building has this leak (I take care of Vaad Bayit) that I've been trying to get Israeli plumbers from Shahar Insurance Company to fix for a half a year now and they keep giving me the runaround of how it may be from a previous leak or connected to moisture from the rain. I need Joe to please come over to Beit Shemesh ASAP so that I can get an honest opinion.

In my book it is far more trashy to kill an unborn child from an unwanted teen pregnancy than to take responsibility for a mistake and rear a creature of G-d. As for the Palin family...me referring to them as "trashy" had nothing to do with the underage pregnancy...its the fact that this woman is forcing her daughter to marry a self proclaimed "white trash" who's mother has plead guilty to selling oxycontin out of her house. The problem with journalists convering the Gaza war is that they are in enemy territory and any attempt to give a positive account of Israel's activities could put their lives in danger. The Arab world is very media aware. Indeed, when a civ ilian is injured oir killed they are almost calling the photographers before the medics. Likewise, with the jouralists covering Gaza. If they start giving back balanced reports then they will be either shot or kidnapped by terrorists.

It's because of people like Joe the Plumber that America is as f*cked up as it is. He is NOT intelligent or informed on any issues regarding this conflict but is justified because every single person in this retarded country cannot accept reality (Obama being elected, Palestinian suffering, Climate change) so they automatically blame everything on a "liberal" bias in media/bureaucracy/universities/all other countries that don't agree with us.
