Comments: 50      Follow Rosner's Domain on Twitter!!! New PEW report reveals that: "Israel [is]... the only public among the 25 surveyed where the current U.S. rating is lower than in past surveys". Wow! This might mean that lack of trust in Obama now translates to lower favorability ratings of American itself. This can't be considered as good news. Take a look at the data: And no less interesting is the table showing Israeli and Palestinian reaction to the Cairo speech. Obama lost confidence of Israelis - and gained less than what might be expected in the Palestinian Territories. At list as a short term booster of confidence this seems like a lose-lose kind of event. Take a look:

I don't see a lot of movement one way or the other in Israel and the Palestinian territories pre and post speech. I don't think either side will make a permanent shift in their opinion based on one speech. In many ways, the speech was what was to be expected..Curiously, I find that Obama's favorable rating is higher in Israel than it is in Canada. His rating in Canada is appreciabily higher than George Bush's, however Canadain politics have moved to the right while America has moved to the left. I don't think this has ever happened before.

We shall wait and see Obamas support. His ratings fall evrytime their is a poll. Polls,however are only a photo of the moment. Trends however begin to develope from these moments. The trend does not look good for Obama and company. Democratic Congress is in dissaray, economy continues to deteriorate if you look at unemployment, which is the grest indicator of how sucessful an economy is.
No work no retail purchasing which is the backbone of US economy. Stock Market rallying based a great deal on momentum. When that falters other indicators indicate dire things. Obama will be toast.

He is not carrying an Obama foreign policy, but a US foreign policy based on US global and national interests.
