Olmert's undeserving government

Behold.

The PM who failed in the war is evading responsibility.

Never has the State of Israel decided to go to war with such vast national and international support, including the rallying of the opposition to push back the attacks on Israel in the international sphere.

Never has the State of Israel gone to war while having such a big upper hand on the opponents it faced. Not since the War of Independence has the government had so much time to bring such a decisive ruling on what is to transpire in the battlefield.

However, even with such advantages, and as pointed out by the Winograd Committee, it is the first war initiated by Israel that it did not win.

The education plan: better educators

Teachers' salaries in Israel should increase significantly. However, if we don't change the way the education system is managed, even a substantial addition to the budget, as was done in the early 1990s, would not help.

The percentage of children that adequately passed the IDF reading test has dropped gradually but continuously from 60% in 1985 to 32% in 2002. This happened despite billion shekel investments in education.

The severe crisis in the education system does not derive first and foremost from a lack of resources but from the absence of a clear vision, defined and specified goals and courageous leadership. Israel invests in education as a commodity more than most countries and even the amount of investment per student is at a respectable number

At a time when the new American administration is not showing a strong commitment with Israel security as the last did and world opinion goes against Israel self defense operations with a resurgence of antisemitism Israel security priority goes at the top of the list, and Mr Bibi is the man . I can be called a rightist a fascist, but I do not care, this is what Israel needs at this time, security
John Profit: You've been given the power to make Israel a safe haven for Jews for generations to come, however, power is fleeting, so move expeditiously. Move firmly and with finality against any and all who would do Israel harm.
