Bibi's Blog: Lessons for our Nation Posted by Binyamin Netanyahu
Comments: 55
The legacy of Jabotinsky is strong and it exists even today. It exists in our family, in all of our families and it exists in the Betar family. The question is – Does it exist in the Nation? It seems to me that it exists partially, but only partially. We must bequeath its existence to the fullest, because nothing is more relevant to our ability to cope with the challenges that face us today. We face existential troubles, but nonetheless, it appears as though the ability to perceive reality as it is, all that it entails, and to act in order to distance danger and overcome it, is an ability that the Jewish people lack. The Nation of Israel survived for the last two thousand years, but its survival is still small in comparison to the survival of other ancient nations. We say, “Am Israel Chai (The Nation of Israel lives),” but the Chinese nation lives with one billion and a quarter Chinese people and the Indian nation lives with one billion Indians. The Jewish nation also lives, but with a lot less Jews. Over the generations, Jews did not excel in recognizing the existence of the collective threats nor did they excel in implementing actions to curb them. In the end, the ultimate test for leaders is to take advantage of opportunities for the good of the Nation and to identify and get rid of the powers that endanger them. Identifying its dangers is the first stipulation for the successful existence of a living creature. Every living organism must identify a danger in time; otherwise it will be devoured and will disappear. This fact is true to biological organisms, true to humanity and true to the Nation. We, as a nation, are apparently lacking in this ability. Approximately 50 years ago my father wrote a book about the Jewish leader, Don Yitzhak Abarbanel. Abarbanel was a theologist, a philosopher, a countryman and a great finance man. He was a finance minister under the reign of Portuguese King Alfonso the Fifth, as well as for King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain. His genius passed a test of the generations. But this Renaissance man said several years before the expulsion from Spain that the Jews will live securely. He discerned that the situation of the Jews was fine, at the time when the Inquisition was already in the works, and the expulsion was looming. Although he was blessed with endless talents, Abarbanel did not foresee the imminent and forthcoming catastrophe. Binyamin Ze’ev Herzl, as opposed to Abarbanel, was endowed with the ability to foresee in a prophetic manner attributed to that of the Bible. He accurately identified anti-Semitic dangers at the end of the 19th Century, almost 50 years prior to the Holocaust. No other man identified the threat in so clearly and precisely. Despite anti-Semitic immolations such as the Dreyfus trial in Paris, the general consensus among the Jews of Western Europe at the end of the 19th Century was that their situation was wonderful. They went from the ghettos to wide-open spaces of education and achievement, were integrated into every part of society, and they blossomed. When Herzl identified the danger and foresaw the Holocaust, he cautioned, he volunteered and was even ready to go to as far as – Uganda. Herzl acted in such a way since he could sense that the danger was imminent and that it was merely a matter of time until it threatened the core of European Jewry. It is well known that Herzl could not recruit his people for the cause in time. Had he succeeded, the pain of the Holocaust would not have been felt. There was enough strength and time to break through to the gates of Israel. In that period, the land was under Ottoman Rule; a weak and hollow empire, on the verge of collapse. Herzl stood and said, I am here standing with a stopwatch awaiting the downfall of this empire after which we can fulfill the founding of the Jewish State. He died in 1904 and a decade later, the fall of the Ottoman Empire came about, as he’d predicted. At the Paris Peace Conference of 1919, Chaim Weizman requested that the Jewish people’s rights be upheld in their respective countries but failed to establish a Jewish State in the land of Israel. Israel Zangwill, brilliant student of Herzl’s and one of Britain’s brightest authors shot back at Weizman: Why did you not demand the Jewish State? This is the opportunity to get compensation for the contribution made by hundreds of thousands of Jewish soldiers in the Allied forces that defeated the Turks. Weizman answered meekly: I did not ask because it would not have been granted. The very first President of Israel possessed many admirable qualities but those of a statesman were not among them. He was a talented diplomat, knew how to make a connection with people from all walks of life and to socialize, but he lacked statesmanship – first and foremost the ability to recognize danger and to identify opportunities. Essentially, the founding of the State came about not because of danger and not because of anti-Semitism. It was established because of a love for Zion, a yearning for the land of Israel, because of the survival of our people’s dream to return to our homeland. However, these factors only saw a few thousand Jews making their home here. Millions of Jews did not understand the gravity of the threat they faced (and did not attempt to join their brethren in the homeland). Indeed, if they had recognized the danger in a timely manner, there would have been an opportunity for our people to join forces and unite, against the White Paper and against all the obstacles imposed by Britain thereafter. But the majority of the Jewish people did not understand nor did they want to understand. The only man with leadership that followed Herzl was Jabotinsky, but as in Herzl’s case, it became clear that a lone statesman, as talented and brilliant as he may be, cannot save an entire people. Like Herzl, Jabotinsky was gifted with the ability to look clearly at the reality of situations, even through the fog of the present and the future. To face the danger as it is and to look for the opportunities. Where others, while speaking of a national home and even a Jewish State, wasted precious time, Jabotinsky volunteered and fought since he understood that time was not on the side of our people. Even so, Jabotinsky did not manage to convey to the majority of our people just how severe the danger was. He was perceived then as a furious visionary. The strongest objections to Jabotinsky did not come from the Bund (German Jewish Socialist Movement), but from within the Zionist ranks, that accused him of exaggerating and sowing panic. In retrospect, the reasons for these attacks are not self-explanatory. Jabotinsky was a talented man, dignified and respectable. Why so much hatred towards this man who warned against a danger that ended up materializing exactly as he'd predicted? It is difficult to find a similar incident among other nations. This is uniquely a Jewish phenomenon: repressing and denying the danger and remaining on the offensive of the one who cautions against it. Jabotinsky suffered greatly from such treatment from our people, but he did not relent as a result, not even for a moment. Like a prophet of Israel, he called out against the danger even when no one listened. His heartfelt cry in Warsaw was the cry of a Prophet. It was answered by only a few. Some came to Israel and created the basis for the rebellion movement that in the end, succeeded in freeing our land from British rule. The Herzlian and Jabotinskian goal to save our people was not fulfilled. However, a seedling for the creation of the State of Israel was achieved; this assured our nation’s future. They never admitted it, but many leaders of the Yishuv’s movement were very much inspired by Jabotinsky ideas and vision – for example the notion of a Jewish Military, that made its debut as a leader in the separation in Galipoli, and in various operations against the British. This vision, mocked and rejected by many Jews, turned into a founding stone for our nation. Does anyone really believe that we would have been here today without the IDF? As strange as it sounds, the notion of a Jewish Army 90 years ago was thought of as insane. Jabotinsky saw with clear precision the need to manage international public opinion. He understood that a military victory cannot be achieved without a political victory and that a political victory cannot be established without the public's support. Is Jabotinsky’s legacy alive today? It sure is! I’ll start with the first component – recognizing danger. We stand today facing an existential danger. A year and a half ago, my colleagues and I warned against this danger but our calls were dismissed by our political rivals. Our warning; that a unilateral disengagement without any agreement or security arrangements will just create a situation in which extremists will immediately flood the area we have evacuated and use it as a launching pad for more attacks against us. This is exactly what happened to us, starting in Lebanon then the Gaza Strip and if we would have continued in this path, in Judea and Samaria as well. We stand today at the forefront of the struggle between the democratic world and its attackers. We have experienced four significant struggles in the past 100 years: against Prussian militarism in the First World War, Nazi militarism in the Second World War, Soviet militarism in the Third World War, which was a Cold War and carried out without bloodshed. Now, we are in the Fourth World War, facing extremist Islamic militarism which threatens Muslim Arabs, Americans and Europeans but first and foremost, the Jewish State. This calls for five political components. Firstly, as I’ve argued, Herzl and Jabotinsky would have handled the situation first of all with timely recognition of the danger. Many in our nation are now becoming aware of the problems we face when they could have done so a decade ago, if not before. Secondly, Herzl and Jabotinsky would have looked for allies. In order to achieve our goals, we need to build as wide a front as possible with those who share a common interest or common values. When Herzl sought to open the gates of Israel, he tried to create a rapport of interest with the German Chancellor and the Ottoman Sultan. In turning to them, he attempted to expand the number of forces that would stand by the Zionists. Jabotinsky tried to gain popular support in the United States. He understood that the US was an up-and-coming power and that we would benefit from their support for the creation of a Jewish State. Still today, we need to gain more support. Our natural supporters are also on the defensive from Islamic extremism. Therefore, our first priority should be in the international field, in engaging world leaders. There are several leaderships that are important for this cause: German, French, British but more importantly the US President and his two possible successors. To this we must add the Russian President, since Russia is also a target for Islamic extremism. A coordinated effort must be put into place to make these leaders understand that their states are also under existential threat and that the spread of Islamic terror and the arming of fanatic governments such as an Iran with nuclear capabilities, is very much a danger to us all. These threats also affect the supply of oil to the China, which should also be addressed. Thirdly, Jabotinsky would have turned to public opinion. He taught us that in the democratic world (and the world is becoming more and more democratic), leaders’ decisions are affected significantly by public opinion. Therefore, we must gain support first and foremost amongst the American population, not to mention European. Europe must understand that the threat of Islamic terrorism is very much relevant to them. Fourthly, Jabotinsky would have applied pressure in key points at the heart of the threat – Iran. We must act with economic sanctions, capable of eroding the Ayatollahs’ regime and bringing about its de-legitimization. These sanctions should destabilize the regime and aim to gain popular support should the need arise for a more aggressive approach that would essentially remove the threat. Finally, Jabotinsky would have emphasized the need to build an independent and powerful economic force in Israel. The security concerns that we face and the implementations we must make, necessitate enormous investments and no one will just hand us the money to protect ourselves on all fronts. Therefore, this means that an additional component is needed – a strong economy, capable of, amongst other things, providing the necessary material resources for our security. We need an economy with powerful growth capabilities not just to solve our societal issues such as education, absorption and so on. We need a sturdy economy first and foremost because we need to be able to defend ourselves, and strong national security is very expensive. These are the five components of political realism, in the spirit of Jabotinsky, needed today. These policies will enable us to push back the present threats and deter any future ones. We are not exaggerating nor fabricating. In the spirit of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, we are recognizing the threat and proposing practical solutions to combat it and defeat it, if necessary. Are the doctrines of Herzl and Jabotinsky relevant today? They are not only relevant, they are the sources of life for our people and I personally choose to see them fulfilled thoroughly.

I would never vote for a person who is in favour of a "Palestine" state in our heartland, nor of a person who stood idly by when Gush Kartiv was destroyed.Feiglan is nearer Jabotinsky than Natanyahu.

You got it wrong about Herzl. If I read it correctly, he was totaly ignorant about what has kept Judaism alive and not only was he satisfied with his Uganda scheme but was reported to have appealed to Pope to solve the problem of anti-semitism by encouraging mass conversion of Jews to Christianity. So much for his ideals. Jabotinsky did not give much credence to the role of Hashem as having a great influence on our past and future existence of our People. You Bibi, with due respects to your talents and charisma, are also blind to this aspect and are making the same mistake - like most of our secular past leaders. You need urgenly to shake yourself out of your materialistic and egoistic fantasies

Mr. Netanyahu, it's OK for you to post an article as well. That's your right!
I'll start commenting on your article, starting form alinea 5, as 1 through 4 I don't find interesting to comment on.
That Abarbanel you're talking about is probably one of the many philosophers, who were in most cases too optimistic, and therefor (indeed) blind for things (already) happening in Europe. But for centuries before that Jews have always been living in a Big Vicious Circle of Love-Hate Relationship with the nation in which they lived. The same pattern, dominated by fear and insecurity about whether to integrate/assimilate or not and about how much a Jew should accept of the dominitating non-Jewish values, is what we read about. And it doesn't matter if the story was written in an ancient period of time or between 1700 and 1900 or in the 20th century or now.
The story tells us the same thing: Jew not knowing what to expect despite any decision made or not (about integrate, or not, in European societies). That's not any different from today, Bibi! We see the same pattern again - only this time not only big groups of Jews 'have that problem' - but other groups too!
That's also what put the Jewish issue, if we can call that that way, in a so different social perspective. It's an issue that concerns so many non-Jews - as we see the same assimilating issues and resistance to integration among an extremely large number of non-Jews who don't share (all the) European values!
So, at least Jews have been liberated, from the Stigma of that Jewish Issue - as now it's a Turkish Issue and also a Moroccan Issue as well. Generally it's now an Islamic Issue of which Jews who (still) struggle with our free values, of which they don't agree, are a part of. So, those Jews are no longer a big issue, but part of a bigger issue. And so the 'new situation' has brought you some good (you lost an Old Stigma) but it brought you some bad too (Jewish is no longer the issue, but part of a big issue concerning that many Europeans)!
Zionism, Bibi, was NEVER meant as mean to oppress (any) other people, but you can't deny, Bibi, that that is what it has become (since 1948). Zionism could have worked out as it was meant to do: to FREE Jews from that oppression they had to live in for so many centuries!! Not to oppress your new neighbours, as it turned out to be doing since 1948!!
Indeed, Bibi, MANY (much more than you might think) have never understood the structural threats Jews face - whether they live in Israel or outside Israel!
The biggest threat has already been so completed: the millions of Jews who've converted to Christianity, out of need or out of free choice. Mostly they did that due to a simultanious combination of 2 historical facts: 1)Israel didn't exist and/or their expectations of one day being able to live in Israel never really existed, and 2)their lives in a country other than Israel would surely improve if they converted, as that was what happened to Jews who did that. So they decided to forget about Judaism - and nobody can blame them for doing so.
Nowadays most of those Jewish families aren't even connected to Judaism. They have become Christian families, with a set of values and customs that are not to be considered Jewish. As that's not something you can turn back, nor would you be able to stop that process. Even today there are Jews who decide to put an end - to something they won't enjoy.
You write about that fight, between us and the ones who don't want us to live in freedom. You call it: the democracy versus its attackers. I would call it: free democracy versus democracy of the ones who want to oppress other people!
For I'm sure the religious zealots who want to impose their values and way of living on us do believe they are not a group of anti-democratic people. But I am sure that what they want is to MAKE us live like they do while we couldn't care less about how they live, as long as they don't touch our rights nor our freedom. That's the problem here, Bibi.
No, Bibi, this world is not becoming a more democratic world. It's becoming a world in which more and more countries are in charge of implementing the 'new democracies' they've become in the way they (that's the religious majority in those countries) wish to. But we don't want such democracies in OUR country - for such democracies will only be for them, Bibi, not for us - unless we too become like them (what they want us to be). You see, Bibi, that ain't what we are waiting for! Not here not anywhere on this planet, Bibi. Bibi, we have to keep FIGHTING them, and who's with us, is our friend, who's against us is our enemy. It's as simple as that, Bibi. I can't explain it better to you, Bibi!!
But the problem is, Bibi, that they as well think of us in that way. They and their friends don't want what we want, for ourselves. The different (between us and them) is, Bibi, that we are not even interested in their way of living while they want to impose on us theirs.
Finally Bibi: Iran is a threat, but to you and to your Israel. Not to us, for not even (what's his name?) Ajaminabad will DARE attack our country. So Bibi, that is a point where you need us more than we need you. So maybe we could be able to SWAP on points like that. I've always thought of you, Bibi, as 'a man we can get important agreements with'!
And I'm sure MANY MORE think of you as the Liberal Israeli politician who can help us in our struggle, against those who want to oppress us AND you, Bibi!!

It always makes me cringe when Bibi talks about Jabotinsky. I can't think of anyone who has spit in his grave more than Bibi. Stop talking about things you don't understand. Feiglin is essentially Jabotinsky reincarnated.

Very pertinent observation and sensible solutions from a true leader.
I think faith in the inherent good of mankind is paradoxically both the problem and the solution here. On the negative side, it is harboured in excess, breeding complacency and a degree of denial. Thus, responses are reactive and the cost is always greater than when a threat is recognised and combatted at the earliest possible moment. However, in moderation, it is what inspires the necessary action, the belief that the vast majority of humanity, our natural allies can be enlightened as to reality and join us in neutralising these existential threats with eventual success.
Bibi all five of your solutions are not only reasonable and achieveable but you exhibit a remarkable ability to lead by example. You were proven right about the disengagement from Gaza and now the government are considering your proposed solution to the problem that the withdrawal created (cutting off electricity). I need not even mention Iran, which is only now becoming a mainstream concern, despite your warnings 15 years ago...

Bibi, the nation of Israel will continue to exist but we must all pay attention to see what befalls the nations that desire its destruction! "Those who bless you, (you being Abraham's seed) God will bless, those who curse you, God will curse."
7 | Ben Zalman, Wednesday Sep 05, 2007
Has there ever been a time in 4000 yrs of Jewish history when some nation or people were NOT trying to kill or harass Jews? Right up until today. Israel...you are the "barometer" of what happens to not only us Jews, but of the civilized world. If Mr "Bibi" is voted in, perhaps he will go after these radical Islamic terrorists with a potential "hiroshima" nuke! Israel, be prepared 24/7...the "pogromchiks" are still here. That clone of Hitler in Iran is a nothing less than a Holocaust mentality!

Wicked? "We [secular Jews] have to keep FIGHTING them [religious Jews], and who's with us, is our friend, who's against us is our enemy. It's as simple as that."
"You will love your neighbor as yourself."
Secular Jews and religious Jews are eachothers neighbors. God requires Jews to love eachother.
Incidentally, Druz are also "neighbors" because they ally themselves with the Jewish people, and as Gerim are even part of the Jewish people.
Arab Muslims who are enemies of Jews are, by definition, not neighbors of Jews.
Jews must love eachother and their allies.
(Jews must respect humans, even enemies, but cant help enemies do evil and must even destroy enemies in self-defense.)
The Second Temple was destroyed because different Jewish groups didnt love eachother.
Today, for Israel to flourish, different Jewish groups must love eachother. Even value eachothers differences.

Mr. Netanyahu - Good article. There were a couple of points however, that you did not address. When you noted the maddening lethargy of the Israeli masses, you were correct, up to a point. After last summer's battle with the Hez. I was so frustrated with Israel's refusal to fight that I wanted to shake Olmert and Livni and tell them to open your eyes. Clearly, Washington was also frustrated for after stalling and stalling while waiting for Israel to fight, it was useless until just a couple of days before the mandate went into effect. I fear that Israel's refusal to fight may have led Washington to start questioning their value as a REAL, ally in that part of the world.
But back to the masses lethargy - The masses are NOT, stupid and are fully aware of the dangers ahead. When questioned as to why, the answer is always: "What can we do?" Their lethargy lies in the fact that in reality there really is, very little that they can do. WHY? Well your political system does not answer to the masses. It is NOT representative nor responsive to the will of the people. If it were, Olmert and LIVNI would have been gone a week after the end of last summer's war (and, should have been charged with treason). And now, as if things were not already bad enough, Olmert and Livni have thrown gas on the fire by bringing PERES back into the circle. Insane...
Yes, Israel has many dangerous enemies. But, the MOST dangerous entity is Israel's ELITIST, political system which does not represent the will of Israel's hard-working people and, cares nothing for the country (just their pocketbooks). I strongly suspect that Israel does not have enough TIME, to resolve/repair this problem before the next conflagration. So, the politicians are certainly not going to try and "fix it" as that would mean that they have to answer to the will of the people or, get kicked out of office. Thus, probably, Israel's only remaining hope - is the IDF. But since the top IDF commanders are so closly affiliated with the politicos, this is also unlikely (unless mid-ranked officers do another "Young Turks" action. But, since it is a "peoples Army" this is also unlikely).
So, we are left with the current circumstances as they are now. Now more than a year after last summer's war, Olmert (Israel's modern day Kastner) and Livni are still in office with rock-bottom support of the people but are still trying to give away more pieces of Israel to terrorists who will use the land to continue killing more people (again... just like they always have)
Mr. Netanyahu (being certain that you have the intellect to learn from past mistakes and the mistakes of others), just as Caroline Glick pointed out several months ago, it is insane to give away land to terrorists for the illusion of "Land For Peace". Until ALL, ALL the Pals love peace more that killing Israelis, there can never be peace, other than by massive force. Until ALL, the Pals come to Israel together with solid proposals for peace, the first order of business is the defense of Israel and its people.
One last thing, Israel should have an international public relations agency that can respond to insane absurdities that many read and actually, believe! Clearly, terrorist propaganda is starting to have an impact on world opinion. Israel MUST show the world the truth and counter the current vile absurdities being spewed by radical terrorists and their even more vile supporters (mentally challenged, sick, or closeted anti-Semites).
Mr. Netanyahu... Do Not allow further political concessions to be used to kill more Israelis. Let the Pals settle their own differences THEN, come to Israel praying for peace. NO MORE CONCESSIONS UNTIL ALL, ALL PALS WANT TO LIVE IN PEACE WITH ISRAEL AND STOP THE PLANNED WANTON SLAUGHTER OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN... PLEASE.

I am not so familiar with the details of those you have championed, but I aplaud your rational regarding Israel's present position and you were right to oppose disengagement from Gaza.
You are right to oppose disengagement from any part of ancient, Biblical Israel including Judea and Samaria. You have from what I have gathered the closest philosophy to that of the Biblical prophets. No matter what foolish moves politicians may make, God's will is the final determining factor.
No other people than 'am israel' has the right to claim sovereignty over any part of biblical Israel, and those who attempt to, or assist those who would have the God of the Jews to answer to.
Joel 3:1 "For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.
3 They have cast lots for My people, Have given a boy as payment for a harlot, And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
God Bless You and Your's Bibi.

I think most of Israel has taken the eye off the ball and even jabotinski would agree if he were alive today, the central issue Bibi, which no one will address is we are still at war with many arab and muslim states still, they may not engage us in conflict between armies but are fighting us in other areas, using proxies. We some way down the road forgot ,we need to have total victory over our enemies. The Israeli military needs to upgrade itself and strenghten its coast guard to a real navy.In the future we cannot rely on the Usa to give us a umbrella, there resources are to thin,we need to not be a pin cushion to terror and state terror.I hate war but we will have to eliminate the syrian, iranian, hezbullah, hamas alliance. Our leaders including yourself must not procrastinate like olmert is doing. We must develop and enlarge the military, maybe to even make a foreign legion type force to help our draft and reservists it works in england with the gurkas and france and spain with there own legions. Also bring a American and English style discipine in our military.I think u had a good point, stop taking money from the Usa also I think jabotinski would not allow us this, we would get alot of points in America for ending the welfare (betuach leumi)payments to israel, then asked america,we would purchase from them the newest stuff and they have the best navy in the world. We could project power close to the iranians. We must seperate iran from syria then this will cut off the hizbullah-hamas axis.I hope u have the guts when u are prime minister again,I think the only mistakes u made prior was ,why not u in front of the hypocritical euro states, bring to light there occupation of many peoples also and they have no formula for peace with them.I will give u one example why dont u mention to the spanish, they push us for land for peace but give catalan limited indeoendence and occupy basque lands.I think A jewish leader must have balls because the euros have some how put zionism with aparteid. And this has produce alot of anti semitism and violence.I wish we had jabotinski today to argue and fight for Israel and even a abarbanel to debate our enemies. Our leaders most of them today only care about the benefits they get from the governement.

Israel is in real danger because the most of it's people do not trust in the Almighty but rather in their Army and USA and politics. Will a next war be something like a sign that God Almighty wants to show HIS people that He's waiting for them to give him Honour and Glory. Israel, for how long will you trust in the USA and politics? Have you never learnt out of history? May the Lord be merciful on you!

You complain about the smallness of the Jewish nation but that is your own fault. There would be a lot more Jews in Israel if you stopped discriminating against patrilineals. Instead of complaining about what others have done to the Jews to reduce their numbers why don't you think about what you've done to your own children and grandchildren by rejecting them from their own families. www.jewishjustice.com

Feiglin is indeed more Jabotinsky.

Bibi:
You say, "We stand today at the forefront of the struggle between the democratic world and its attackers." Yet Olmert is giving the farm away to Abbas, giving money, arms, land, releasing and giving amnesty to terrorist, ripping Jews out of their homes while Israel receives nothing but rockets in return. Money he gave Abbas went to pay Hamas for a year. Where is the outrage? It's even money at best that Abbas even survives, yet Olmert is mortgaging Israel's future on just that. Where is the political opposition to all this? Where are you on all this?
Writing a blog is all well and good but not nearly enough. You must step it up. Stop worrying so much about Feiglan and start worrying more about the children of Sderot.

Well written, beautiful article! But at this stage, when the country facing multiple dangers of a magnitude never seen before, the State of Israel needs more than eloquency! Much more than great speeches or articles. The country needs a different leadership; a leadership that is capable to unite the forces of the society, viz. the Knesset, the people and even the army in order to save the country from the present leftist, destructive, antizionist, corrupt and antireligious politicians, and not less importantly to stand up to american and international pressure. Good Luck Bibi and G-d Bless Israel!

Irans nuclear built-up to destroy Israel will not be stopped by sanctions. The Jabotinsky of today, not to forget his disciple Menachem Begin,
with the military power of Israel as it is,high-tec,with self constructed
jets,not smuggeled Hitlers Messerschmitt Me- 109 in pieces;
would have attacked and destoyed the
nuclear reactors of Irtan long time ago.
The present Israel is watching them grow by Satellite.
A danger to the very existence of Israel does not come out of the kassams of tzhe Gazans, but out of the
nuclear programme of Iran.
Every day Israel does not attack, that danger will grow stronger, adding the fact that money-hungry russia will self so many anti-aircraft systems
to Iran, that an air raid like the one on Iraks Nuclear Facilities is no longer possible.
and the jewish people will live on in
fear for 24 hours a day.
Under the biggest challenges of security or statehood, where "the world"
- jews must understand once and for all
that they are alonge i nmost important
periods of history and must act alone and decisive- was surprised by the determination of that time, a kibbutznik 1948 with a bottle of molotov-cocktail alone against a syrian tank, french made, had a better
chance than an airport commander, who gets no orders to attack his enemy.
While a handful of polish and german
jews drew bach a syrian tank unit near the shores of the kinneret,so saving the whole Galil, the complete israeli government today is caught by natures
doctrine of the snake and the rabbit.
The sanke stares at the rabbit. The rabbit will not move.
The rest is known.
Israel must move.
Israel hopes,Bibi will.
