Big Jew on Campus: Zionists in Darfur Posted by Ben-Zion Jaffe

American capitalism and a Zionist conspiracy are at the heart of America's and Britain's push to end the "Darfur Problem", according to the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An essay on its website argues that only after America passed the Sudan Peace Act in 2002 did "hostilities" in the region commence. According to "The Darfur Problem," on the Ministry's Arabic website (the English site is "Under Editing"), America is only interested in putting pressure on Sudan to gain access to its oil, natural gas, uranium and copper. Israel, backed by Evangelical Christians, American Jews, and the American media, is interested in Sudan's oil and water and thus wants a foothold in Sudan. The best way to gain that foothold is by calling the situation in Darfur a genocide which will then give America and foreign troops a legal right to intervene. Once America enters Sudan it can start pumping its oil. Here is one excerpt of the essay that illustrates how certain international forces are trying to colonize Darfur: According to a Jerusalem Post report of April 27, 2006 US Jews are actively involved in planning rallies on the Darfur issue. A host of other organizations allied with Zioinsts, particulary those related to Evangelical Christians, are also involved. The prominent coverage given by US media to a rally (held April 30, 2006) that involved only 5000-7000 people contrasts with the meager coverage given by the same media to anti-war rallies involving hundreds of thousands of US citizens. This in itself indicates backing of the US establishment in mobilizing public opinion against the Khartoum regime. In fact in November 1999 President Clinton signed a Bill authorizing funds to John Garang's army. Israel's Mossad has also been involved in supplying arms to rebels. Apart from oil Israel has an interest in using the waters of Nile to quench its thirst, of course at the expense of Africans and Muslims. Sudan stands in the way The arguments expressed by the essay's author Dr. Mujahid Kamran, are a combination of Soviet-era anti-American and anti-British propaganda, and contemporary anti-Israel slander. In terms of colonialism, Britain was the former global colonizer - it controlled Sudan until 1956 - and America is the current neo-colonialist. Dr. Kamran quotes John Bart Gerald, an anti-war activist and poet from the 60s, and author Sarah Flounders who works for the Centre for Research on Globalization, a group that believes that 9/11 was a conspiracy by "elites." As seen above, the Zionists have a hand in bringing international attention to the "problem" in Darfur. American Jews and Zionist organizations were both mentioned in the same argument against the disproportionate media attention given to Darfur. And it is clear you cannot write a good Zionist conspiracy without mentioning the Jew-controlled media and Mossad's sly hand in the action. However, little has been done to stop the genocide that is still occurring in Darfur. It is important for the public to understand the mindset of the Sudanese government and how they defend their actions by blaming capitalists and Zionists. But don't listen to me. I'm just a media-controlling Zionist-capitalist trying to get my hands on some Sudanese oil to fuel my war-machine, and sweet water straight from the Nile's source to quench my thirst. The Sudanese Foreign Ministry's Arabic website is http://www.mfa.gov.sd/arabic/index.php The essay "The Darfur Problem" is on the right side of the page and written in English.

I have always questioned the wisdom of the relatively deep Jewish involvement in the issue of Darfur. Most people know few facts about it, and there are no 'Jewish national interests' in Darfur. I think it is just a upper middle class, Jewish, guilt-trip. And the unintended consequences of the Sudanese government blaming a world-wide Jewish conspiracy for the problems has legitimacy. Too many US liberal Jews have lost their bearings. Israel has more than enough problems to absorb all of their Tikkun Olam, as well as a very fierce and determined enemy in Islamic Arabs.

So it is liberal jews that are the problem? Do you think everyone in Israel agrees with the kind of envolvement that implies absorbing Sudanese refugees?
Seriously, you should read a bit more about Israel's activities concerning catastrophes all around the globe before critizicing in such a derogatory way. Even if you are Jewish, that doesn't excempt you from being a racist.

The Muslim Brotherhood, parent organization of Hamas,
also controls the Sudanese government and janjaweed militias.
So I have personally been told by Muslim Darfurians now living in Israel.
Say to them "Ikhwan Muslimeen" and they roll their eyes.
We share the same enemy in radical Islam.
