On the edge of an assimilation/materialism-driven oblivion, Western Jewry are desperate to "make a difference." Instead of returning to Torah Judaism, Western Jewry in the US turn to what is familiar to them: "let's make peace." Naively, they exert their resources and energy to further the values of other peoples and disregard their own. Song of Songs (1:6) relates: My motherÂ’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but my own vineyard I have not kept.

Lately our ministry of interior has been busy trying to deport children born in Israel to foreing workers, most of which were brought to this country by Israeli firms making good money, or deporting a man over 80 who has lived in this country more than 18 years and helps handicapped children. He has created beautiful gardens and is treated by the children as a grandfather. Instead of supporting the creation of settlements where there shouldn't be any the Minister should try a more human approach to the problems created by Israel by bringing in foreign workers

Need help in offering P.M. Netanyahu:" A hand of good work." Don't let western leaders tell you how to run your own country, when they themselves can't seem to get the job done themselves. You, as an Israeli, have the right to build on your own land without any threats whatsoever from leaders who can't see the truth of past history. Besides that, you too have the right of the Temple Mount ,where a person can go and worship as he or she pleases, without a dark cloud of death, or imprisionment hanging over them. Hang in there, and keep Israel Jewish.

Please tell the people of Israel that Obama does not reflect our heart toward Israel. Many of us in the heart ot the USA love, support, and pray for Israel every day. We firmly disagree with our president on abandoning Israel in her time of need.

Having viewed the video of Gilad Schalit - my heart goes out to his parents and his family. I believe that the best way out of this mess is to release all 1000 that Hamas is requesting but do it at a point when the Palestinians are about to have their elections so that we will ensure a large Hamas victory. The best result of these elections is to have a stong Hamas government, a government whose point of view is clear to all and we do not have to make excuses for our actions thereafter as opposed to having an Abas government that is weak and pretends it wants peace.

Further to my previous article I would suggest to the Minister to close the firms bringing in foreign workers thus forcing Israelis to work as he seems to suggst that they don't wish to do so, thus avoiding foreigners to come to Israel and having children here. Until that happens all those borne here should be allowed to stay. If he sends the children back to their country I would like to know how he can continue to claim he is a religious man, I believe we were told to take care of the strangers in our midst, but maybe I didn't ge that right? I am not a religous person but a humane one!!

Jim Maclean: People live in realities, the fundamentalist jihadists be they Christian, Jew or Islamic not only do not fear armageddon, they positively welcome it and believe that when it comes, "their" side will be shown to have been the "right" one all along. For those with more humanist beliefs, they will strive to live by the golden rule, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", regardless of the criticism of friends and foe alike. I count myself among those who strive to live by this creed, acknowledging the risk, but retaining hope in the basic good of humanity.
Rogerlen: Agreed, if the So called Palestinians want freedom to travel where they want Israel has no problem giving it to them, but they in turn end up just shooting at and hijacking and blowing up Israeli civilians in the name of "resistance fighters of the occupation" just a big word for a terrorist. if it were a family member of mine that ended up killed on road 443 after this ruling I would sue the justices for negligence and being against the Jewish state, which they are accused of being as a lot of their laws seem to be slanted in favour of arab rights and not Israeli rights.
Jerry Hait, USA: Until I see Palestinians picketing and parading in THEIR streets to let Israeli's drive through their cities unchallenged I would say -enough. Enough giving in to Palestinian demands for their right to take pot shots (literally) at Israeli's trying to live their lives. You are forgetting, conveniently, the reason for all the bypass roads and other "indignities" that the Palestinians have wrought upon themselves. Wise up. They are still living in the 8th century. Until the Palestinians decide to join the rest of the civilized world- keep them off of 443.
