Israel Stories: The Art of Negotiation Posted by Jeremy Cardash

This isn't an attack on the Government, may our leaders all live long and prosperous lives in the service of their country and not the service of themselves. In fact, the government has so perfected the 'princess factor' that it seems to give in even when it is not negotiating; I think it is called "good will." To be fair, when I feel there is the slightest discontent brewing in our happy little home I immediately start the pacification process offering bribes and promises just to diffuse a potentially explosive situation. Truth is, I was tired and couldn't be bothered but that didn't seem to bother them. Then the 'princess card' was played. One spontaneously exploded into tantrum-land, one ran to her room and slammed the door and one grabbed hold of my leg crying and wouldn't let go. I couldn't help thinking, as the kids clung and pulled at me in the swimming pool, what would the government have done?

corrupt condescending arrogant israeli leaders think they are superior to the arabs. This leads israel to make stupid concessions in order to patronize arabs that israels think are inferior to them. The fact is that the bribe taking corrupt israeli leaders have destroyed diaspora Jewry and now are destroying israel Jewry.
Wasnt it the man called golda who said we can forgive the arabs for killing our children but we cant forgive the arabs for making us killl their children?

Happy The Jew- Self hating Jew? I think you missed the point of this very funny blog. The author clearly cares more about the country and the government and realizes the impossible position they are put in on a daily basis. But of course they are all just corrupt, condescending & arrogant to you and the Arabs would have us all live a pastoral, ethereal, utopist existence
.. blown to pieces.

Israel has some very difficult times ahead. The weak leadership currently runnig the country has forgotten the important rule that you don't negociate with terrorists. It's current dealings and the second Lebanon war has left the impression that Israel is weak. There is no doubt that this will lead to future confrontations as two terrorist groups arm themselves on the north and the west of Israel. I'm beginning to question if Israel has the will (or the leaders) to survive the coming challenges. Somebody respond and tell me that they do, please?
